Be glad you aren't my age. It sucks! Parts of my body ache that I didn't know existed. This might be an argument in favor of living fast and dying young, but I have lived well and certainly didn't die young. My mom's medium told her I would die before I was 30 years old. She was obviously a quack!

If I may, live each day as if it is your last and make it count for something. Drugs rob this from you. I feel particularly sorry for people who need drugs to get through the day. They are missing out on life and all it has to offer.

People with talent, like Amy had, bring a lot of energy. It is interesting to spend time with them. Unfortunately, sometimes their energy is negative energy. It is good that you have positive memories of the time you had knowing her.

Now here is the funny thing about looking forward with regards to age. It is a rare person who actually looks forward to growing old. When I was in my 30's a 70 year old was some decrepit old person who I certainly never wanted to become. Like you, I couldn't imagine living longer than maybe 50 years. Heck when I was in my teens, someone in their mid 30's was as good as dead.

Enjoy your life today. Live in the moment because one never knows when those moments will end. But live life well and not doing things you'll regret later if later ever comes.
