whats up with this new bodybuilding culture of "chasing your dream," "never say die," "killin' it," murderin' it," "screw the haters," "get huge or die tryin'," "hardcore 4 life."
Gee, its just lifting weights at the gym. You pick things up and you put them down.
Look who is saying it. It is not Ronnie, Levrone, Haney, Dorian, Flex, Chris C, Shawn R, Dillett, Ian Harrison.
Hell, Haney said stimulate don't annihilate the muscle. And Ronnie Coleman would call heavy weight "light weight".
Bodybuilding has always been about attention, but now it's about "hardcore" and attention. So, the people want to separate themselves and make others believe that they are doing is "hardcore". Yet, many dont look as good nor will ever look as good as the 90s Pros.
