Dave Palumbo is the latest big name in the bodybuilding/fitness industry to join forces with MuscleSport Magazine. He will be writing a monthly column in print and online that will be Presented By RX Muscle and Species Nutrition.

Palumbo is joining a list that includes Lee Priest, Gregg Valentino, Vic Richards, Robbie Durand, Colette Nelson, Dana Capobianco, Bob Bonham, Kirk Radomski and Eric The Trainer, all complied since the New Year to be a part of the five-tiered media outlet that was established ion 2008.

Of course not. RX is doing just fine. But Dave and myself have agreed to do something unheard of in the industry and that is to work together and cross promote our respective companies, as well as working together on each of them.

This was always a side business for me (I previously worked for FLEX and MD) but now am putting my full time effort into it and believe that these new names involved with help get it to the next level.

Some good stuff on there but the articles can be beefier.  More detail.  A lot more detail but I like where it's headed though.

Gregg will be a big part of the entire production and he will be submitting a lot of training, diet and juice articles and videos. We have posted a lot of his training and diet stuff on the site; if you click on his name on one of his posts, it will bring up his entire Author's Page.

But Gregg also brings an entertainment value to the platform with his crazy stories and old school material and he will be writing about that stuff, too, a la Ramblin' Freak. And he is the co-host of the weekly podcast The Gregg & Joe Show, where we have had on celebrity guests.

Does that mean that your company will be banned from larger bodybuilding events as well?

We are not going to be doing contest coverage and 'play-by-play' (it pains me to even type that, as it is ludicrous to use that term for bodybuilding) of comparisons. What our company is looking to convey to the viewer/reader is hardcore information covering the full gamut (training, nutrition, supplements, drugs).

Another important aspect of what we do is bring in a celebrity and pro athlete element, with their training and nutrition programs with one-on-one interviews (not Googling some actor's "workout" and putting it out there as fact).

Plus the entertainment side with The Gregg and Joe Show, which has a mainstream platform with celebrity interviews and a comedic element. We had one of our interviews picked up by TMZ last year.
