But we are judging him according to IFBB standards and other IFBB competitors. He is not being compared to the average getbigger or gym rat.

Similarly, baseball announcers critique baseball players, even though baseball players are better than the announcers. Why do they do this? Because the announcers are critiquing the baseball player in relation to MLB standards and other pro baseball players. Not to themselves or the average "joe" at the park.

In sum, he looks like shit for the IFBB and has shit genetics compared to other IFBB pros. He will most likely never crack top 6 in a Mr. O lineup, unless everyone else looks like garbage. But I am sure he looks great standing next to the average gym rat.

Yes, youre 12th best in the world, but when youre looking at it from a stance of making money and being relevant, you really need to crack the top 6, even the top 10. If you're the 12th best baseball player in the world, you will most likely be signing 6 year contracts for over 100 million. If youre the 12th best bodybuilder in the world, you will be making videos for musclehunks.
