damn it, that was the show of the decade.......expensive too...each episode was costing over $1 million to produce and in today's money, that would $13 million

Not quite. $1 million in 1984 (the year Vice premiered) adjusted for inflation is the equivalent of $2,249,345 in 2015 dollars.

Yeah, but for all of that he is still subject to the vagaries of life and the real world. I remember back when his movie Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man came out some time in the late 80s or early 90s seeing him show up at the movie theater on opening night with dark sunglasses and a baseball cap pulled down trying to be a little incognito checking out the opening weekend crowd (which I don't think was that great).
