He had the perfect lines and symmetry in the '70's but couldn't nail his conditioning. He was always holding water. When he finally figured out how to get ripped, he hit his peak in '82 and '83.

There's a color picture from M &F or Flex somewhere where his tricep looks carved out of plastic. He was the first person I saw with that striate thick tricep look.
