In today's society libs have this view that "I am allowed to do anything and everything, and you can't question me" (but they are the first ones to call the police when someone "violates" their "rights"). One wonders if they grew up with parents who were really never a form of authority.
This viewpoint crosses over into the libertarian/conservative viewpoints. It's one of the few things that they have in common.

BUT police do get to drive by a separate set of laws in a non-emergency manner, constantly, and it's dangerous.

A cop killed a 15-year old kid in my town. Ran him over, riding bike to school. The cop was speeding, late for work, playing on his laptop, and actually driving in the MIDDLE of two lanes, just drifting. Killed the kid, launched him like 40 feet. THE cop was found guilty of "careless driving"... and the cop is STILL FIGHTING THE TICKET, dragging it out.

if any of us was drifting, speeding, and admittedly on a damn laptop, and we kill a kid on a bike... guess what, we're going to jail, and rightfully so.

So it this obvious shitbag wants to call out police for breaking the law, I'm okay with it. I wish everyone in every town would flag down police (who are speeding, rolling thru stop signs in non-emergency status) and ask them to slow the fck down and obey the same laws we have to. Really, I do.
