with that O line, you could plug in Phil Heath at RB and it'd work.

It's a decent gamble. Low pay...McFadden ran a 4.3 out of college, low wear and tear over his career.

It's looking the Cowboys will be going running back by committee and probably go all out defense with free agency/draft and probably draft another running back in a later round.

I know Seattle lost a couple of key defensive pieces but with the addition of Jimmy Graham, i suspect that will only help Marshawn as teams can't stack the box on him as often without the risk of getting chewed up by Graham. The NFC champion is going to have to go through the Seahawks and right now that will be no easy task. DeMarco was huge but Philly still have work to do.

After the Demarco signing, is Stephen A Smith still calling Chip Kelly a racist? What a fucking hebrew douche.

I am an Eagles superfan, and have been for many years. Please direct any questions towards me. :)

They still need a safety, Guard(or 2) and a wide receiver. Chip said they will look to the draft a receiver, and hopefully they can draft Safety Landon Collins with their 20th pick in the draft. Mariotta won't fall to #20, I think he goes to the Jets. Rumours right now is that left guard Evan Mathis is on the trading block. He was at times last year, and I believe he wants more money again. He is 34 years old and Chip prob wants to get something for him while he still has value.

I guess you can't totally rule out trading up for Mariotta, but it's unlikely. And please don't jinx them by calling them Superbowl champions. They are not in the same league as the truley elite teams yet. It really all depends on how Bradford plays/stays healthy. I can't stand Sanchez.

Not if they have to play the Pats in the playoffs.

Ill sit back and watch all the tiny tits talk about how good this and that team will be, meanwhile I will sit back and pencil the Patriots into the AFC championship game  :D

I've been thinking about this.  Jerry Jones made no attempt to keep Murray.  I think he already has a deal with AP but can't say anything or else he'll get fined for tampering.

Adrian Peterson will end up with the Arizona Cardinals.

Chip Kelly will draft a WR in the first round and the Iggles will win the preaseason.

I've never seen a team pick up two high profile Running backs in Free Agency.  Wonder what Chip Kelly is up to.  I guess he knows its a long season and most running backs are beat by the time the season ends, so split the duty?

Bradford though, fuck, he's useless.

At the end of the season, he's either going to look like a genius, or a raving lunatic.  I'm thinking the latter.   :-\

Adrian Peterson is still under contract w/ the Vikings. If Jerry Jones wasn't willing to ante up & keep Murray, it's hard to envision the Cowboys are going to pay AP what he's owed on his current contract & he's owed over $12 million for this upcoming season, over $14 million in '16 & over $16 million in '17. As great as AP is, that's a ton of money for a RB who's about to turn 30 later this month.

That's what happens when the owner gives full control to a coach that is unproven in the NFL

A healthy Peterson could run for 2,400 yards behind that Cowboys O-Line

that'd be awesome to watch

picking up 250 yards one week, 140 yards the next week, 305 yards the next game... epic!

McFadden should still get 1,200 if he stays healthy at all

McFadden is too brittle, and the last 2 years he's played horrible. They would be better off drafting someone in the 1rst or second round. Yeah their line is good, but paying McFadden millions is a mistake. But oh well, its the cowgirls.

How says they still won't?

McFadden is only guaranteed 200k...If he doesn't pan out you cut him in the preseason with little financial repercussions.

The Cowboys covered their backside with this signing.

Pretty early to give projections when the rosters are not yet set. You know, the rest of free agency, the draft, injuries. Its a long time until september

I think they will. I just think that a good rookie will have more production than McF. I just think that there are better options than McF to cover their asses. I guess they no cap room to do much.

Supposedly it's a deep draft with running backs so they should be able to land someone decent in the first 2 rounds.

I think Jerry is starting to take more of a back seat and his son Stephen Jones is kind of taking over.

I don't think you'll be seeing them over extending to sign free agents with big dollars like before. Stephen seems to be more fiscally conservative than his dad in that sense.

There is enough dense getbiggers around to prove that a stupid prediction wouldn't come across as tongue and cheek. I guess you trying to be funny.
