Yeah, he, himself, just use to write them as dumbbell row weight x reps (adding more rep cause he couldn't find larger dumbbells), and then the questions start in - "How can we do Kroc rows?", "Where can we buy big dumbbell handles for Kroc rows?", "can we do other exercises like Kroc Rows?", and so on. Some of the stuff was so silly.

Everybody wanna be a bodybuilder, but nobody wanna invent a new name for old exercises.

was that so hard

yeah, and you've been told how to make that simple correction many times

Why am I not surprised something so incredibly simple is still out of your grasp?

You're trolling me why? Do you train? If not why are you posting in this thread? If you do, offer something constructive. It's a computer. It's just as easy for you or anyone else to click the link. No? Simple yes or no would suffice.

Or just attach a fat grip to the dumbbell and voila, you have big handles.

Anyway.... About the ROM. People sure get uptight on this one. They see a guy who is light years ahead of them size wise, yet say their way is no good? I used to often shit on the bad form but WTF, it works for them. On heavy rowing, good form can be tough to keep up, but so what, as long as the results are there, no?

I swear I know a dude who does nothing but 1/7th (that is very accurate of his ROM) and is one of the overall biggest guys I know.

Basically, I've seen more huge mother fuckers who use bad form that dudes who use super strict form and are small.

I tend to be the very strict due to injuries, so slow tempo's are an absolute must, but back day is different. The stimulation, oddly from 4 plates T bar row done perfect does not have me look the same as doing heavy ass 6 plate version yet the muscle does not feel as stimulated on the spot. It's after...

Question:

He says he invented something called "The Kroc Row." It looks like a normal dumbbell row to me. He says he pulls the dumbbell up high and squeezes his shoulder blades together. Most people who do dumbbell rows do them this way. What's he doing that's so different that he needs to call it a "Kroc Row."

Someone please explain!

Don't get it, this doesn't engage the lats. Ribcage or lower, closer to the insert. Dorian's routine (minus the underhand grip and pullovers) was ideal. For me, anyway.

But what the fuck do I know.

"So, in other words, its a slightly modified dumbbell row and its just called a Kroc row?"
- Personally saw it so many times in gyms around the world, during last about 10 years, so have no idea why he calls it Kroc row?  ???  ???  ???

This type of shit annoys the fuck outta me. Same thing with so many other principles I've been doing for YEARS, then some dude like Meadows comes along, tags a name to it, and is credited for being a genius.

Ok...

People just adding an ever so slight twist to something that already exists then calling it their own to gain notoriety. Dumb asses...
