yes.. ok karate training like Kyokushinkai but never seen it before in Judo. Maybe just for the video Grape.

totally useless to beat yourself up like that with a baseball bat, these ancient kung fu/ kyokushin philosophies of making your body harder in order being able to take more punishment have been debunked enough times. It looks cool but is completely useless.

Maybe if you start doing that from birth for the next 30 years your skin and bones may get thicker, other than that it's a waste of time.

you are correct if you are say the average person who goes to his/her dojo 1 or 2 a week. They have no time for this because you have to learn technique/kata. The hand Hardening i did was in my Basement Gym with a friend. I was However shown how to go about it from a very high graded Master who lived in Japan for some years. if you do it too fast and wrong you will cause injuries. Itīs a slow and at first painful process but your hands develop calouses and the soft structures strengthen. Important is how you strike.

I watched this shaolin monk training documentary (propaganda) and even they said that "this technique requires at least 15 years to life dedication to develop properly".

yes.. if you are looking for a system that delivers in say 1-2 years then do Wing Chun/wing Tsun...etc  but if you really want to learn an Internal Martial art then itīs not possible to do this in such a short time. I was intrested in martial arts since i can remember. The "Hard" techniques i have learned through the years i like less and less. Thrusting my finger tips in pebbles and Makiwara training i no longer do. I understand more now the teachings of Aiki. This is why i started the thread Aiki Budo.

I have always been intrested in the Shinto Religion. Indeed Aikido has deep roots in this.

YES,YES.. i understand you. I Boxed too. You know later on you see things in another light. I am not a Dreamer but am now in a position to look back at it all and am at peace. I have trained under and met very High Graded Masters in my time. The one i loved most was in Aikido/Aiki Budo.
