After viewing your recent contest pics I've decided to tell you to go all in. Take it from me professional bodybuilding is an endeavor worth pursuing. As you know legendary getbigger Howard still laments he never chased his dreams of thonged glory. Military service, advanced education/degrees,successful careers, relationships and judging bodybuilding contests don't come close to providing the satisfaction of being the biggest, leanest dude on stage.
If I've learned anything following this sport after all these years it's that we're not limited simply by genetics, they work against every competitor. Let mighty Dan Hill be your guiding light, genetics, work ethic, and training matter little, drug protocol reigns supreme.
Skip the little shows, they're for small minded, weak willed gym tough guys. Telling people you competed in a NATIONAL level contest is far more impressive than winning a show among 3 people in an outlet mall. People at the gym and online will always remember you as a national competitor, just look at Goodrum.
Listen brother I've read your posts in that you've stated numerous times you have no interest of chasing the dream. Don't be like this. I'm offering you this vital advice, not because I care but because I need to post something, anything. I often treat getbig as my personal Facebook bodybuilding page.
Finally enjoy your life, it's short. Don't worry about helping your wife become a pro, have her set aside her dreams and goals for your pursuits. Sure shes a catch now, but just wait 40 years. Learn from the elders here, women are a dime a dozen. You literally can be remarried numerous times. You can only chase my pro dreams for 30 years tops. Women and people change but the weights on the bar should only go up.
In closing I liked the story you shared about farting in the hotel room on your wife. Far jokes are a staple of any happy man.
Sincerely,
Distressed Howard
