Embarrassing video footage has emerged of a tank gifted to Ukraine from the UK failing to climb a tiny hill.
The footage shows the Saxon - one of 75 gifted to Kiev under a 2013 deal - attempt to make the climb then give up.
Former chief commander of British land-forces General Sir Richard Dannatt told the Daily Express that supplying the vehicles to Ukraine was "immoral" as they are "useless".
"They are quite useless, semi-armoured lorries that should be nowhere near anyone's front line," he said.
The Saxons were built in the late 70s and intended to be cheap and efficient for units making long journeys.
They were taken out of service 10 years ago.
