My gym doesn't even have 35's any more. It seems arbitrary to get rid of the 35's and not the 25's or the 45's. I guess they figured the more "strong" people will use the 45's and the more "weaker" people will use the 25's.

But nothing in between? Then again, how many people actually stack on multiple 45's? In a normal every day gym, it would actually seem more worthwhile to get rid of the 45's and keep the 25 and 35's.
And whats up with the 2 1/2 pound plates? I guess for small incremental weight increases.
These are the difficult questions that bodybuilders have to ask themselves day-in and day-out with no readily available answer. Its the burden we bear.
