The best part of Cruz running will be watching it end in tears for all of his disciples

at the very least, Cruz will get out the 20% that didn't vote for Mccain, that did vote Bush in 2008.

Now, at absolute worst, he would have to lose 20% of the vote in the MIDDLE that did vote Mccain.

You really think 1 in 5 mccain voters will 1) accept Mccain/Palin is competent and ready 2) outright reject Cruz?

See, that's what people cannot answer.  The utter shit that was the man being attacked by applesauce and rambling idiot vp choice - an entire 20% that punched the ballot for Bush didn't think they were conservative enough.  They will vote cruz.  You would HAVE to see ANOTHER 1/5 from the middle stay home - and I can't envision any scenario where that happens.  They vote anti-obama, they'll vote anti-hilary too.

We can all agree that a repub win won't come easy - patricularly becase poor/dependent/illegal voters are up thanks to amnesty.
We can also all agree that ANY candidate able to win the repub base will do at least a little better than mccain - and maybe a lot.  Base voters held their nose and stayed home to make a point - they'd rather a lib win, then a lib dressed as a republican.  Will middle voters stay home?  I dont think they will, they like to vote.

what is your delusion with Cruz

A far right wing nut job is not going "bring out" anyone who isn't already voting

He's much more likely to cause Repubs to either stay home or vote in protest against Cruz.

LOL @ great movement

based on this poll the smart money will go to "unsure"

I forgot to mention how fun it going to be to watch Ben Carson have to make daily apologies and clarifications to his off the cuff statements

20% of repubs that chose bush in 2004 did not vote in 2008 when repubs ran a shitty RINO/incompetent veep.
