My Absolutely Genius Getbig Business Idea - This is Amazing Idea

Sometimes I even shock myself with some of the absolute genius business ideas I come up with.

So listen up, recently I have been thinking about Getbig and thinking about how to solve the gimmick problem as well as make the place earn revenue for Ron and profitable.
Just talking about the forum here noting else.

Now here is my thinking and where I am going with this.

Way I see it is basically whether people like to admit it or not Getbig's core MEMBER base is a die hard collective of Getbig addicts who can NEVER stop posting, lurking or leave this place.
They are hooked for life and total Getbig addicts. If they don't have Getbig for them its like losing a limb.
For them Getbig is like the Mafia once ur in your in for life, no escape EVER.

There are AT LEAST 100 of such members, also often running gimmicks on top of that.

Now all Ron needs to do is turn this site into a subscription site where if you wanna post you have to pay $10 a month.

He also needs to turn off the posts being viewable to the public and stop the asshole guest and lurkers who never post getting free entertainment and a free ride for nadda.

There are thousands of guest who too scared to post but who are total addicts to lurking this board.


NOW.....people might moan and grumble at the beginning but they will ALL pay up and join in the end cos they are fucking addicts who cant help themselves.......Booo yaa  ...fuct 4 life like junkies!
If they can't see the board they get withdrawal symptoms and go crazy not knowing whats going on

Just like how increase taxes on cigarettes each year doesn't stop the smokers smoking etc.......Getbig addicts are the same so u get the point.

So 100 members times $10 a month that's like 1K Ron is getting a month MINIMUM for doing absolutely nothing.

But also many other guest and lurkers will be forced to join up too cos they are lurker addicts too and it will be Wayyyyyyyy more than 1k a month in subscriptions I am sure.

I reckon Ron would easily make 5k+ a month at least from member subscriptions to this site.
 
Just like how Bangbros and other porn networks make money, Getbig should be no different.

Its all quality entertainment.

Now get this, here is the clever bit.

By turning the site into a subcription site where member have to pay $10 a month to post.

Suddenly u get rid of the gimmick problems.

Cos every time someone wants to run a gimmick it will cost them $10 more a month.

So if I have 700 gimmicks for nothing now.

It would cost me $7,000 a month to run them if site was subscription.

Been here off and on since 2004 and In it's current state I wouldn't pay 10 quid a month to post/read the boards.
A few years back you could make or post in a thread and within minutes that topic would be on page 2, these days it moves at a tenth of that pace.

The early prominent posters like McFarland, 240 and True Adonis not being the contributors like they once were, along with Alex23 running off Squadfather a few years ago really began a detriment to getbig in general.  The whole 'King' Alex23 era negatively effected getbig more than most would like to admit as well.

 I agree with most in the fact that if it costs 10.00 a month to post, most will not pay on principle and head over to TheBlockhead's site or even bb.com.

Getbig is "Getbig" because its content is self-generated (it's created from within its membership, without whom the forum flails and founders). Can the forum risk losing its entertainment "rainmakers" by charging them what amounts to not just a reading fee, but also to a posting fee?  For example, take the inimitable Ironmeister, who continues to raise the bar with regard to internally-generated spoofs. Should Ironmeister have to pay to contribute his satirical brilliance, or, similarly, should the sharp-eyed Aldo Falconetti shell out coin for opening our eyes to electricity and space-time conundrums?
      Moreover, I should like to think that most of the truly talented and creative personalities here don't post out of a need for getbigymous webzknowledgement, but rather as a goof and nod to others who might appreciate the joke. So, unless you want to risk ending up with nothing more than an incestuous circle-jerk of tiresome insanity passing for entertainment, I'd question the efficacy of the idea. And, yes, Wiggs should not have to pay, but should be paid; preferably, in fireworks, which was created by his illustrious people.
