The hate comes from the bullshit of always "saluting" the troops.  Sporting events sucking their cocks.  The constant push on the public.  You can't watch the NCAA tournament without some military sponsored commercial every break.  The ARMY spends $1 billion a year on advertisment. Then all those "surprise" coming home videos.  Such bullshit propoganda.  When there seems to be one every week and there just happens to be a news crew by when some guy surprises his kid or wife.  Please, like they didn't see the news crew hanging around all day.  Do soldiers really call the news and say "hey, I'm coming home and I'm going to dress as a mexican then take off my sombrero and suprise my wife at work"

I think the US treats it´s Vets better than the UK. I know of a few guys who were kicked out before they could get their full pension. Missing out on a large lump sum of Money which we all used to get which puts a good deposit down on say a House on getting out. One of my sons wanted to join the British Army which he can too although he was born in germany. I told him don´t do it. Why? because of the present UK Government.
