New protein bars baffle me

So I was having trouble finding the VPX "Low Impact" bars and googled around and settled on the "Chef Robert Irvine FortiFx Fit Crunch Meal Replacement Bar". It was very highly rated over a bb.com (no homo) and frankly looked tasty.

It has the same amount of protein (30g), fewer calories and less carbs and less sugar. What could be wrong? Frankly, the bars taste too fucking good. I feel like it's Halloween and I am 12 again when I eat one. I am not sure I am capable of eating another one...

It's just a glorified candy bar. If you don't care about what you eat, then you can pretend it is good food.

All those bars, no matter how good they are at first, lose their taste. Even the almighty Quest which I really ate for a long time. Threw out the equivalent of over 4 boxes not long ago as I used to always stock up when on sale. They cost too much now, but Quest was by far the best of them all.

just buy your own IMO fiber syrup and make your own flavors. you end up saving loads and will know for 100% certainty whats in them.

Yup estrogen converter.

Also there's probably alot of fat in it.

For something to taste good it either needs fats or sugars.

made my own before but they were HUGE, lol, not very transportable and were sticky to eat. But LOADED!!!

Interesting. Does IMO syrup show calories on the bottle?
