This is what happens when a street ape doesn't have the advantage of a sucker punch and a dozen of his chimp buddies. This is also what happens when he fights an able bodied man and not a pregnant woman/small child/elderly person.

I'm pretty sure he died too despite the title of the video.

Self defense??? Surely you jest. An unconscious man poses no threat. Anybody who beats on a man who is already unconscious in such a relentless manner is an animal and needs to be locked away for a long time.

Bullshit, I would agree if you were talking giving someone ONE TO GO ON WITH (like Dan Henderson against Michael Bisping), but repeated blows and kicks and head slams to an unconscious man is animalistic and unjustifiable.

If you've been engaged and you truly believe it's you or him, life or death, I am just saying that getting that rage under control, especially once you've gained an upper hand, is NOT straightforward. I agree that it went on a little too long, but I've always been trained to END the fight, once and for all.

People aren't always rational when they lose their temper properly. Sometimes those little voices at the back of your head that tell you what's wrong disappear.

Speaking from experience, once it subsides you then start to regret things.

I doubt he got 30 years, straight dead to rights murders seldom get 30 years in NYC. At worst, he may of got one of the manslaughter charges if that guy died, or something like 2nd degree assault if he lived. That's based mainly on the last kick and head bounce, plus the talking after he is out.

Far Rockaway is a tough town.
