Joon is the most genetically gifted man on the planet. Literally, in the last 12 months, he's gotten "huge", gaining 20 pounds of muscle TWICE. And he's gotten fat and subsequently lost the fat at least three times.

In that same time period, I have put on about 5 pounds of lean size. If only I could have Joon's superior genetics.

You know that I have recently reminded myself that I never got properly "pwnd" by Joon with his video of him doing 80kg for reps. At this point, I'd be happy with 70kg or even 60kg (50? C'mon Joon, you can do it!). I'm still waiting. Is anybody else waiting for a proper animated GIF of Joon throwing his back out?

Anybody doing arms today or tomorrow? I am not due to curl again until Wednesday. Might go up to the 75 lbs DBs then. That's like what, 35 kg? Almost to Joon's Magic 40kg DBs, the genesis of the "easy" 80kg "for reps"

I got the 130's for 6 with a pause on the incline the other day so I'm just over half as strong as Joon - although this 50lbs of solid muscle Joon Booty says hes put on might make those stats laughably outdated

You got it! We should all list our lifts as a percentage of Joon's lifts. Sadly, I don't think I will ever hit 80kg for anything looking decently rep-like, so I am seemingly stuck at around 87% of Joon's stupendous curl strength.

i've still not recovered from the shame of when i tried to curl 60kg. very nearly looked like this


According to Joon, 60kg is like a broom handle to him. And now, I've heard that he's put on another 50 pounds of pure muscle. He must look like Dorian now. Joon, can we get a pic of your Dorian-like musculature?

Did incline DBs today. I was trying to "twist" at the end to hit my upper pecs (oh brother  ::)), so I only worked up to the 95's. That's only 73% of Joon Strength™. Fuck, I am a weak-ass mofo.

My best curls with a slight cheat are:

135-10 while weighing 160 or so.

70 pound dumbells seated alt. curls,......... slight cheat for 5 reps each arm.

150-5 while weighing around 150.


All curls done with a super slow exaggerated negative portion slight cheat to get weight started in the right direction.

Did a lot of biceps work on Saturday with my back workout. Yates-style rows hit the back AND the biceps for a win/win. Come to think of it, I did do rows with 80Kg on the way up. Huh, probably should have straightened up and tried a few curls.
