Coincidentally, Tulsa is the only place in the continental US to have sustained aerial bombardment.
In the spring of 1921, during one of those episodes of the country's history that's best not to talk about, gangs of white Tulsonians, helped no doubt by the local law enforcement teams, tried and failed in the forceful expulsion of the African American population in the city.
At one point during the event, planes from a local air base were deployed and the black neighborhoods were bombarded to smithereens, while gangs of gun-carrying whites massacred the retreating the African American Tulsonians.
White law enforcement officials, both police as well as military personnel, played an active part in the event.
But hey, race has nothing to do with what's going on nowadays.
It's all an imagination.
I'm white by the way.
