Years ago.. cops working the night shift had limited places to get coffee. There weren't the 24 hr places there are now so the Donut shops were it.. kinda became a tradition. I can't tell you the last time I've been in a donut shop but there are IHOPs and a few other places open 24 hrs these days.

You should never be shot in the back unless you are posing a threat, i.e.reaching for weapon. This guy was posing no threat. He was retreating, NOT advancing. On the streets when you shoot someone in the back, that's considered a bitch move. You face your adversary and if he makes a move then you make yours.  All the obvious facts considered in the video and what we know this cop murdered this guy in cold blood.  His reason we don't know. Then we witness him lie and the police department lie (perhaps unintentionally) until the video shows up.  This isn't an isolated event throughout this country.  This happens often and gets covered up.  Does it happen to whites and browns as well?  I'm sure but I'm willing to bet it happens more to Hebrews disproportionately. Then we get into a chicken and egg argument about what's causing it, a different topic though. Add on top of that that the video shows he knows he was wrong when he moves the taser. I dunno... if the name of the game is straight up survival, and I'm engaged in a gun battle where one of us is going to be killed before it's over... and my adversary turns back on me to run to a better position to shoot me, then it's totally cool to shoot him in that case.  Not as honorable as the movies, but IF he gets to that advantage shot, he will shoot and I'm dead.   So in real life, if it's a gun battle, you take any shot you can get.
