That's correct.
Not too long ago, the American Medical Association had to sit down and revisit their Cholesterol guidelines. They found that eating most foods heavy in fat will have very little effect (20%) on your actual cholesterol levels. Moreover, they found that genetics controls 80% of the outcome with regards to you developing Hyperlipidemia.
Granted, if you go out and eat a pound of butter each day, then yes, your cholesterol levels will increase by default, but a few meals here and there won't put you 6-feet under.

There are a few points being missed in this thread I suspect.
Her bloods came back "perfect". I am willing to bet that they did not come back perfect at all, just within normal range.
Normal = Homer Simpson, especially in modern day USA. You do not want to be "normal".
I would also be willing to bet that lipids only looked at things like HDL and LDL rather than delving deeper into cholesterol (as one small example) where the experts now know there is much more accurate information to be found.
Was a fasting blood sugar test done on her? I doubt it, she can't be that fat and not be pre-diabetic. What about HbA1C?
Someone like that is a walking time bomb and her doctor is a c u n t for giving her false hope and legitimising her gluttonous slow suicide.
