Trailer was dark and epic indeed, but Ive always found the concept of Superman VS Batman just stupid. Superman is the most overrated superhero ever made who is basicly invincible to everything, except kryptonite. So unless Batman got some of that in his pocket, it is an easy win for Superman. Actually fuck that, Superman could finish off Batman in 1 second, regardless if he had kryptonite or not, so the concept is like I said just stupid! At least pick a Superhero that is somewhat more EQUAL to Batman...

Superman (despite his powers) is also a MAJOR pussy with his soft tocuh, precious conscience and feelings etc... Most boring and girly superhero ever made. And Ive yet to see ONE Superman movie that was actually good. I hate all of them, and I`ll never watch a Superman movie again. I will probably watch this movie however, and see how it holds up.

Affleck will do fine (not as good as bale as he is the better actor but Affleck has been shown to do well in a lot of movies) but superman is an awful actor. Last superman was terribly done (as all have been).

Does superman's heat vision have a varying degree of strength. Seems if he cassualy uses them they stun someone but if he growls while he uses them they seem more powerful. A fight between Superman and Batman should litteraly last 2 seconds with superman just frying batman to shit.

Superman can cast his heat vision in a single beam, a wide beam, multiple beams and at varying intensities and levels of heat. He could literally cut Batman in half with a single wide blast expending no effort whatsoever. Superman only kills in the direst of circumstances and even the Batman doesn't qualify.

Is the Superman v Batman concept silly? Kinda, but since Superman refuses to kill him a "battle" can ensue. Will Batman stop Superman? No. Will he stun Superman? Ok sure. Will he make Superman bleed? Probably. Could Superman put down Batman whenever he wanted? I'll give Batman some credit and say it wouldn't be that easy. Although, if cornered with no outs Superman could level Batman with less than ease.
