where were all the marvel characters when the avengers were fighting a world invasion on one city block? mind you, they fought an invading army on one fucking block, telling jokes while no one was getting killed.

This story line takes place when Bruce Wayne is older and less active. This is supposed to be his advantage over Superman in that he's had years to learn how to stop him.

i think they miss this version of batman isn't year one. he has faced and defeated killer croc, bane, mr freeze, etc or some combination of them before he does his first movie. secondly, wayne enterprises recovered the ship, so he studied krypton tech since the last movie. what's the time skip?

It's strange that they redid Superman to just jump right into this. Why not have one more Superman movie, do a JL movie then eventually the superman vs. batman. The timing doesn't make sense at all.

Batman doesn't care about Metropolis... Batman is a psychopath, period.

Superman is sent by the U.S. President to stop batman after they had an agreement he would stop vigilantism.

that means MOS 2 is 2016 and JL/Batman or some combo comes in 2018-2019. Marvel drops another 20 movies by than. I see no issue with BvS. it makes all the sense that earth's hero would consider MOS a massive threat after the World Engine, etc. It would be stupid if they jumped to MOS 2 and batman (i'm sure he is heavily invested in metro with lex), ww, etc just pretended zod and company were just a neighborhood skirmish.

The only way to truly make Superman not a pussy is to have Lex as the president and have Superman kill him. The whole comic story makes me laugh at how many times a super hero has to capture a villain to only have them break out of prison and cause destruction again.

That's the Irony of the "Hero". Superman was labeled a hero for stopping Zod, but Zod only made it to earth because of Superman's beacon in the first place, so if Superman wasn't on earth, Zod wouldn't have went to earth and they wouldn't have destroyed half the city. So Superman cleans up a mess he created and is labeled a hero.

Do you think Batman's battle with Ra's al Ghul was over a city? Wouldn't MOS be the 2nd coming of Ra to Batman? Ra wanted to be a God, and the world views MOS as a God. Batman is invested in Metro and I guess you forgot the body count after the fight. So Batman will pretend MOS wasn't apart of that. Movie makes all the sense.

I saw on Pawn Stars a drawing made by Marvel and DC about a crossover of Spiderman and Batman. At the time in the early 90's Marvel was struggling and so was DC, comic book sales sucked. Fast forward now and it would be awesome if we could have Hulk vs. Superman or shit like that. Sadly licenses will mess that up. I did read that Sony and Marvel came to an agreement with Spiderman and now he can join the potential 3rd Avengers movie which is probably why they are rebooted Spiderman again with a new actor. Fox is the only holdout and are being pricks about X-Men so marvel vowed to stop making X-Men comics and characters because Fox had first right to sue them each time. They are forcing their hands.

One of the most epic comics I ever read was Hulk vs. Wolverine. That would be a killer movie.

i love the wonder woman wax work but gadot is such a skinny trick, am still having a hard time picturing her in the costume.

I was so into comics back then and even though there werent the movies there are today, it's funny that the industry seemed really strong and popular at the time.

brolin is one-dimensional. affleck's team will be doing screen plays and directing DC universe movies. they did the re-write for BvS. go look at some of brolin's poor recent work. fucking hype. if DC didn't get afflleck, marvel would have. at least his team is capable of writing academy quality screenplays.
