Pete Burns used to work at eric's a legendary alternative record shop in Liverpool. Believe it or not he could fight- and often had to so got good at it. all true.

Also a mate of ours in SE London said boy george was from a big family and was the hardest of the brothers.

I suppose he had to be to carry it off.

John Moss the drummer from culture club got slashed across the face at a house party on shiel road in Liverpool over an argument over getting robbed of money when trying to score some speed.

Tourism is down in Jamaica and continues to drop. Doesn't mean its completely dried up because there's still a shitload of people that go but it means that there's less money around. What really hurts the country is the high level of crime overall rather than LGBT issues because its not illegal unless you're directly fucking openly in public which is just disgusting altogether hetro or homo. Not only that, the gays in Jamaica (gully queens) are a much different nut to crack than regular ones and its prob not a good idea to mess with them

Point being is that Jamaica is working to clean up their image because they know that someone like me would simply avoid Jamaica and go somewhere else like the Virgin Islands or Hawaii.
