it always takes about half a quarter for the defense to realize they can plan man coverage and come around his left side, and voila, they make him play hero ball, which worked in college, but not now.
Linebackers know the angles of pursuit and tebow doesn't know the angles of how to elude.
No smart coach will ever "base their system" on a player who can't hit a man being covered, who risks that much injury on a regular basis, who has to make every drive a series of near-misses and hero ball. That kinda shit gets WRs injured.
