Mccain is a mess.  An absolute mess.

Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) on Wednesday took a jab at Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) and his presidential run, declaring Paul to be the worst Republican on security issues.

"Sen. Paul is the worst possible candidate of the 20 or so that are running on the most important issue, which is national security," McCain told Fox News' Neil Cavuto. "The record is very clear that he simply does not have an understanding about the needs and the threats of United States national security."

McCain was responding to Paul's Tuesday comment that McCain and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) were Obama's "lapdogs."

And even though McCain relentlessly mocked Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) earlier this week, he said he'd prefer Cruz over Paul. "Ted Cruz has a much better handle on our national security issues," McCain said.

Maybe he understands our military is dominant over the world and if we wanted to we could exterminate the entire world if needed and that makes terrorism seem like scare tactics to steal freedom.

I haven't looked at the national security positions of all the candidates, but if Rand is anything like his dad, then McCain is absolutely right.

but if Rand is anything like his dad

No chance of that lol.
Rand was very close to Ron Paul when trying to get elected, then suddenly shifted to the "let's give aid $ to everyone, let's grow military, let's spend more" in the last year.

So repubs don't know what to think about him.
