I hope we get a good Batman this time. Christian Bale's Batman was a total dickweed. His motivation made no sense whatsoever.

So far it looks like Affleck's Batman has too many feels. He looks like a sad, fat emo kid, always looking down.

Nikka looks like he's asleep in both of the official photos that have been released so far.

Bale was a good Batman, made even better by the fact that Nolan's films overall were far superior to those that preceded them. Affleck looks out of place in the cowl in my opinion. I have zero interest in watching a Batman played by Affleck.

no way in hell b v s will be worst than the avengers. i just watched a bowman and moto-bitch fight steal robots with their bare hands, captain america powered up to superman's level, no pepper potts (

bitches), a worthless quicksilver, an abominable scarlet witch, an opening fight scene that was all over the place, no fucking plot at all, etc, etc, etc. and vision was beyond lame.

oil rig is still better than anything scene avengers 1 and now 2!

the trailer is better than the WHOLE avengers movie!

Bale's Batman fucking sucked. That corny ass Batman voice literally ruined every scene he was in. Constantly running around yelling, "where is he!" at everyone. Goyer is a terrible writer. The plot was boring, repetitive and unnecessarily complex. Nolan sucked, Bane fucking sucked, his voice sucked, Catwoman sucked. I shit you not the only good things about those movies were the few scenes that Micheal Caine was in and Heath Ledger's Joker. Anyone who likes those movies is a simple minded phaggott.

Hate to break it to you but you aren't going to get much better then those for "superhero" movies. Bale is an exceptional actor and to have someone like him take part in these types of movies is not going to happen too often.

Also, there are several actors who could have played the joker as well as Ledger. He has always been a mediocre actor, imo. Only reason he got such noteriety was because he was dead and the atmosphere created by the movie (not him of himself). He did well but nothing that several others couldn't have done.

Heath Ledger killed it, totally interesting, unique, and awesome Joker. Great performance. You are full of shit.

The Nolan movies were high-quality in terms of what superhero movies normally deliver (except the third one, thought it sucked) and CB is a great actor, but I didn't particularly enjoy his portrayal of Batman.

Well said, well said. I agree. I loved all the on-location shooting instead or sound stage and CGI. Quality cast (minus Katie Holmes). Very well made movies. Unfortunately, they still sucked. They sucked in a different way that most superhero movies suck, but they sucked none the less.

Plot sucked, dialog sucked, Batman sucked, Batmobile sucked, Bane sucked, Catwoman sucked, Ras al-Ghul sucked....

Basically what I'm trying to say here is that they sucked. Well made movies, visually awesome, but they sucked.

Goyer wrote Man of Steel and BvS... so, if you hated Nolan's Batman, you shouldn't have much hope for BvS.

Sadly, Snyder has no idea how to tell a story. His visuals are awesome. But his movies are just collections of action sequences. MoS was a horrible Superman movie. No heart, characters doing stupid things, horrible pacing, missed all of the important beats in the Superman mythos.

Whedon is a master storyteller. I have a hard time believing Age of Ultron doesn't work story-wise.

I predict that BvS will be as much of a mess as Sucker Punch.

It annoyed me when he spoke to people that knew he was Bruce Wayne but still sued that growl voice.

Joker becomes the Joker by getting shot in the face and falling in a vat of acid.

They are just as "dark and gritty" as the Nolan movies, if not more so, if that's your thing.

Bale on the other hand was a very unconvincing Batman. Be interesting to see how Affleck pulls it off.

Two different visions of the Batman universe. I don't know why people always try to compare them.
