Klitschko  fights shit opponents.  Mostly because the heavyweight division is shit and because he wants to hold onto those belts.

He fights the best available opponents (who admittedly aren't great).

Who do you think he should fight? Aside from Falcon. :D

There's two issues.  The first is he only fights because he has to or he'll lose his belts.  The second is when he does fight the opponents suck ass.

He fights 2-3 times a year. That's actually decent for a 39 year old champion in boxing today.
Some of the opponents suck, sure. But who do you think he should fight instead?

All-Time Consecutive Title Defenses Heavyweight Division

1  Joe Louis    25
2. Larry Holmes    20
3. Wladimir Klitschko    18
4. Tommy Burns  11
5. Muhammad Ali   10
No undefeated Marciano in that list?

When I see the size difference between them I just wonder what type of pounding she must endure.

I think on actual title defences he didn't have that many, around 6 I think but will have to google it later. He definitely beat the hell out of an old joe louis in one of his defences though.

25 straight title defenses is a helluva record.

At 39 years old I don't know if Vlad is going to be able to catch that one.

Wlad did fight a boring fight.  But at this stage in the game he knows his age and he doesn't want to trade punches with an inferior opponent.  Jennings was game but just isn't good enough at the top level.  I think Wlad vs Fury could be interesting.  Fury has the size but would have to actually show up in shape.  Other good fights could be Anthony Joshua or Lucas Browne.  I personally think the Klitschkos are two of the all time best ever.  That being said, Wlad needs to retire.  The heavyweight division is as exciting as ever but it needs fresh faces.  I really like Joshua as the next champ.  He has the amateur pedigree and has better defense than Wilder IMO.

The commentators mentioned all of the holding before the fight and Wlad didn't disappoint.  Kept putting Jennings into a headlock.  Fucking horrible boxing.

Woad fought his usual fight.  Bryant Jennings showed more than I thought he would, he was expectedly and ultimately under-matched against the much bigger man, with a style that has been almost perfected.

I think he only had 5.

Made successful title defenses against: Roland LaStarza, KO 11, 9/24/53;
Ezzard Charles, W 15, 6/17/54, and KO 8, 9/17/54; Don Cockell, KO 9, 5/16/55; and Archie Moore, KO 9, 9/21/55.

Klitschko's next fight is mandatory against Tyson Fury for the WBC title, should be interesting.

I can't remember the last time Vlad fought someone significantly bigger than him.

Wlad is 6'6 so it's rare even for a HW to be taller than that.
I think Mariusz Wach was slighty taller though.

Late foreman and tyson would shove or bodyrush onto an opponent getting them off balance and open

If you think about it its brilliant

It makes for atricky fight

Foreman loved to wait n push look for an opening
