Can't say I remember anyone going as far as claiming a member was on death's door in order to generate buzz and harvest emails tho.  That person could choose to examine the motives driving him.  He might reflect on whether he's spending his time well or if he's become a bit of a sad case, possibly with a view to asking himself: How would I regard someone else who does this?  Is this something that a well adjusted individual enjoying his life would do?  And: Must this be my path?

Good news - he has woken up briefly.

He was trying to say something, as the nurse came in close, she could hear his faint whisper "mirror, mirror".

They put a small mirror in his hands, he lifted it to his face, kissed it and slipped peacefully back into his coma with a smile on his face.

Before slipping away they heard him faintly say "I dreamt I was Derek Anthony... It was just a nightmare"
