It all started when they targeted black people in their ads.  The "I'm Lovin' it" is aimed at young blacks.  Almost every commercial is aimed at blacks.  They are targeting the demographic with the least money to spend.  They alienated the white people who never want to step foot into a McDonalds because of all the blacks that hang out there.  Whites would rather go and pay more at In an out, Five Guys or whatever else because they don't need to deal or see Urban youths.  McDonalds made their own bed and now need to sleep in the cuckold they created.

I chalk it up to there being stronger, better tasting competition. I know I find myself going to the smaller, more fanciful competition now. Same thing with KFC, I'd much rather Popeyes. They do offer 1 dollar large drinks through the drive through which is probably the best deal in town. I hit up that deal 2 or 3 times a week.

Dude they make a killing in black neighborhoods. The main reason why they are loosing ground is Chipotle and subway. I believe there are more subways than McDonalds. In my area, there are at least 4Subways within a 2 mile radius.

The hip and young in the suburbs want and like Chipotle---the food is way better. And the only McDonald's that really kills is the 24 hour ones.

The truth as to why McDonalds is suffering financially is that people have began to have a thorough understanding of what's in their so called food. In addition, their competition imo has become much better than them in pretty much all ways. McDonald's sucks.  I've gone hungry than stop at one. People are looking for healthier options and McDonalds has the unfortunate pleasure of wearing the banner of King of unhealthy eating. In addition all the GMOs and mystery meats, and fries with 14 ingredients(wtf?) and food that doesn't decompose.  People are waking up.  The reason as you see so many URBAN Hebrews eat it is because it's cheap and it's addictive. That campaign was aimed at young minorities in general.  It's just "hip" to use the I'm lovin' it campaign. Us Hebrews set trends, this should be obvious by know so they're using that to their advantage.

In summary, Fuck McDonalds and everything they own. Why?  For selling frankenfood and knowing poisoning the loyal public.

Nope, chipotle came on the scene before this current administration and started to wiped the floor with McDonalds, and so did Subway.

McDonald's the. Started offering healthier choices in food to compete. Also, other fast food chains have better quality burgers. You also have a lot of newer chains that have popped up as well.

And if you want to go there, one of their best offerings, Apple pies, was changed years ago.

No...companies like Chipolate and mid-class restaurants are chomping into the profit.  People nowadays want a more sophisticated lunch than just a burger and fries

Let's not forget McDonald's was a primary investor in the Chipotle brand until about 2006. There's many reasons they're suffering but the reality is no business is on a continuous up swing. Everything that goes up most come down. Their profit and stock is still high it's just not record breaking.

In time the same will happen to Walmart.
