Truth why McDonalds is suffering financially

McDonalds has had to fire their CEO, profits are down and stock is stuggling.  They are trying to reinvent their menu but they aren't pointing the finger at the crux of the issue.

It all started when they targeted black people in their ads.  The "I'm Lovin' it" is aimed at young blacks.  Almost every commercial is aimed at blacks.  They are targeting the demographic with the least money to spend.  They alienated the white people who never want to step foot into a McDonalds because of all the blacks that hang out there.  Whites would rather go and pay more at In an out, Five Guys or whatever else because they don't need to deal or see Urban youths.  McDonalds made their own bed and now need to sleep in the cuckold they created.

I have cut out all fast food (except chipotle). No more taco bell, wendys, burger king, mcdonalds, KFC, etc. That shit is so bad for you.

I suspect their stock is also down because people are making better choices.

Compared to McDonalds, you bet.  All food at Chipotle is prepared right at the location and fresh.  They have no can openers, no microwaves, and no freezers.  There's no Chipotle nearby where I live but there is a Moe's which operates similarly.  


What McDonalds needs to do is to quit trying to please every treehugger and bleeding heart who are not going to eat there anyway and get old school.  Beef Tallow for french fries, fresh ground beef....just get back to their roots.  Chipotle food usually has way more calories and more fat and guess what??  Fat is where the flavor at in foods

Also, they need to tell the 15 dollar an hour people to go fuck themselves.  If they want more money then move from being the fry cook to the shift supervisor.

I have to go with the early post on the first page. Here in NCA, it's KFC that is predominantly black. I don't eat there because it is so fucking outrageously expensive.

I do love the food, but too much money. Tastes good cold, so I suppose since there are left-overs it's worth it, but Mickey D's here has taken a shit.

I don't know why. Their menu probably has a lot to do with it.

I don't each much in the way of fast food, but my top choice is Schnitz... gimme a corndog and a Butterfinger Freeze and call it good.


Other than that, a lot of "In and Out's" are appearing, but I HATE their burgers and fries. Messy, goopy... shitty. Place is always packed, parking lot is crowded... always.


No Chipotle, Taco Bell... no jack in the box, Carl's Jr...

Well, thats the thing. People are trying to make better choices. Sure, Subway and Chipotle are not the BEST or MOST healthiest food, but they sure do beat McDonalds or Burger King. A lot of people are probably choosing those types of foods over fast food.

There's a growing awareness, that's true. Not sure about BK, but MD has alternatives as well, like their salads & wraps, but most people visit them for their burgers (and I wonder why, lol)

Where I live, within a year, a 5 Guys, Chipotle, and Panera Bread have all come in to where only a McDonalds used to be.  Many more choices, more "hip" places, healthier choices to coincide with the "working out is cool" trend, etc. explain why McDonalds is suffering.

When a husband and wife take their two kids out for lunch at McDonalds and are handed a $30 plus bill it's the reason they are going out of business. You eat at a real lunch restaurant for that price and get a real burger. I eat lunch at a decent restaurant by my house. $7 will get you a real burger with mushrooms, slice of tomato, lettuce, with fries, soup and a drink. The burger is really good ground. Why would I pay $5 for a big mac then add on fries and drink for crap at McDonalds?
