i live about 2 miles south of the city line. shit is cray cray. not in my 'suburb' but too close for comfort.

actually i think the repub governor just got fed up with the mayor's incompetence today. nat'l guard is now on alert if the bitch can't wise up. cops could have hammered down on this yesterday but she tied up their hands to do anything of substance.

oh yeah and that cvs at penn north burning on nat'l news.. one of several i worked at and managed loss prevention for. oh the shit i've seen there. oh well. it gone.

The police finally marched on the CVS. People looted it for an hour then lit afire.

They didn't immediately pull a fire truck to it, even though they had cnotrol of that block. They let it burn. What if there were people inside? What if someone killed someone in there and lit fire to hide evidence, destory video camera, etc?

I know they have to take it block by block, but the riot was small and other police vehicles made it there - why no fire truck? that CVS fire blazed for entirely too long.

i was training a couple guys there and we went out back to find a half-cocked knee grow shitting between our cars in the parking lot. one of many sights people don't understand if they've never lived/worked in the shithole ghettos of america.

does the store surveillance stay locally, or instant upload to an off-site server?

I wondered if the fire was lit to hide some crime inside. "IF" they find a body in there, some intact security footage could be difference between unsolved crime, and some a-hole going to prison.
