I'm really sad about a convicted criminal dying in police hands cause he was breaking the law again. I don't care about his long rap sheet. I need to break windows to get a flat screen and some oxycontin out of CVS so I can chill with some HBO with my new TV.  Since I don't have a car I will damage a few cars on my way home too.

I always noticed at the gym that even if youre really respectful and polite, if you're not a strong lifter they look at you like they want to spit on you. But if they see you handle decent to heavy weight, they automatically respect you.

THIS is what they did in Ferguson - Police INTENTIONALLY gave the rioters one day to make a MAJOR mess - and on purpose - in order to garner public support.  They moved very slow on purpose, and they LET a small group of idiots do anything they wanted.   instead, they spent the night complaining about 15 injured cops and they LET the bad guys do it.

THE MAYOR ADMITTED IT::::>

What no one expected is what Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake admitted in a press conference on Sunday: that she asked the Baltimore Police Department to “give those who wished to destroy space to do that.”

http://fusion.net/story/126587/the-odd-tactic-of-giving-baltimore-protesters-space-to-destroy-property/

She slipped up by revealing it, but this is EXACTLY the strategy used in Ferguson, and I fcking called it then - they're playing the public relations game, letting a small group of idiots have the spotlight to be bad without even trying to stop them, for a day.  Those cops moved purposely slow, they surrendered "hamsterdam", a small % of baltimore, to let the bad guys do anything.  It's a political strategy, and it's not new.  And now the mayor ADMITS it.

Yes, heard it earlier. If only she were thoughtful enough to give the looters store keys as well, avoid the troublesome window-breaking and all.

But I expect all this, nothing to see here. All fucking opportunistic animals, napalm 'em for all I care. BUT DID ANYONE SEE COPS RETURNING ROCKS AND/OR BRICKS TO THEIR RIGHTFUL OWNERS? Because this would be odd as fuck, right?

Only reason I posted this.

They can actually use one level above what force it used on them ...if u push they can punch..so yes they can throw bricks back

What's with looting toilet rolls?

It's an interesting thing. In many poorer areas, a lot of folks don't buy paper towels, etc.... to save cash, so it's a luxury item. It's surprising how much people will boost stuff like that.

Also with young guys, it might serve an arsonist's purpose. You pour something flammable on it, set it alight, and throw it. A lit roll of paper throws and bounces around surprisingly well, and is hard to put out.

NO, I dont think this is the case at all.  I don't think that cop (featured on CNN home page) was allowed to "randomly throw rocks back into the crowd".

No, I don't think police are allowed to do this.

police getting their shit wrecked don't count.  no need to post their photos.

Taxpayers pay for that.. so I first think "well that's smart, your property tax is about to go up, and special programs will be put on hold, then I remember, those folks doing the rioting don't pay taxes..

No, throwing bricks would not be within policy. There are force continuim guidelines and throwing a brick into a crowd isn't on the list. And its really not one level up. It can be the appropriate level of force to end the confrontation.

no seriously... police could have STOMPED that weak group.  they were kids.  IF the police wanted to, they smash the will of that crowd fast.

Call it "restraint".  Call it "let them have room to destroy".

But you CANNOT claim those police were working 100% to stop the rioters.  You just can't, sorry.  That "restraint" allowed a lot of injury and damage when police COULD have halted it much faster.

THIS.  There is nothing at all controlled about a fat cop hurling a rock back into a crowd lol.

if these cops throw bricks at a crowd of people with the cameras rolling, who knows what they do when they aren't rolling
