Relax with the immature name calling...lets talk.

and again... the "your people" statement is just silly. Its like me saying attributing the ills of ted bundy or jeffery dahmer to you and your friends....they act as individuals...so..yeah lets be better than that..

now what is your question...are there bad black mayors?...yes....are there bad White mayors...yes...are there bad latino mayors...yes...
What are we talking about here...

Where is a nice city that exists in the US that is controlled by minorities as the majority in government and power?   ???

Or a free for all cash grab.

Its ridiculous really.  It really is a different set of norms, values and culture at play here.  Its not really hard to decipher of what happens and why.

He's either ignoring the question, think there's nothing wrong with the state of minority areas, or googling furiously trying to find such area.

I have a good one for you.

Soul City, NC.

It was set up to be strictly minority controlled after the Civil Rights Movement.  Guess what happened.

I can't name one place that has not turned to shit when these types get in power.  Help me out Option D, can you name one place that would be worth living in or has been made better as a result of being controlled by such individuals.

Its really strange how it all just turns to shit when they weasel their way into power and the cities then suffer and turn to pure shit.

Not a country, state, county, city, or neighborhood anywhere. But let's focus on bad cops.

Cops really the only thing holding your peeps down?

Department officials said some officers were exonerated in internal force investigations, even though jurors and the city awarded thousands of dollars to battered residents in those incidents.

I'll try to do some digging.. but I'll throw this out for balance.. Cops are about the most sued profession. Often times cities will settle a winnable case because the math tells them to do so. I know of 2 cases I have first hand knowledge of that were total BS but it would have cost more to fight it than to settle it. The settlements were around $100,000 each.. So I would guess some of that may not be valid cases. We've also had a few where the officer screwed the pooch and the pay out was because it was a valid claim.

Since 2011, the city has been involved in 102 court judgments and settlements related to allegations of civil rights and constitutional violations such as assault, false arrest and false imprisonment, making payouts that ranged up to $500,000. (The statutory cap can be exceeded when there are multiple claims in a lawsuit, and if there is malice the cap may not apply.) In 43 of the lawsuits, taxpayers paid $30,000 or more. In such settlements, the city and the officers involved do not acknowledge any wrongdoing.

Many of the lawsuits stemmed from the now-disbanded Violent Crimes Impact Section, which used plainclothes officers to target high-crime areas. Officers frequently wrote in charging documents that they feared for their safety and that residents received the injuries when resisting arrest.

That the courts found no wrongdoing in a lot of the cases, yet still gave the payout.

Hope this helps.

PRESIDENT OBAMA: BALTIMORE ‘THUGS’ NEED TO BE ‘TREATED LIKE CRIMINALS'

President Obama strongly condemned the riots in Baltimore, describing the looters that struck Baltimore last night as “thugs” who needed to be “treated as criminals.”

He responded to questions about the recent violence in Baltimore during a press conference this afternoon with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

Obama praised community organizers in Baltimore who were protesting peacefully and working to clean up the mess made by “a handful of criminals and thugs who tore up the place.”

Obama’s answer to a question from the press on the Baltimore riots was 14 minutes long and included 6 major talking points. Obama apologized to Prime Minister Abe during his response, admitting that he was going long, but that he felt the need to address the issue because it was important.

“When individuals get crowbars and start prying open doors to loot, they’re not protesting. They’re not making a statement. They’re stealing,” he said. “When they burn down a building, they’re committing arson.”

“That is not a protest. That is not a statement,” he said referring to the violence in Baltimore last night.
