If you looked at it like this you could develop a more usefull narrative

I re-read it, and it reminds me of the argument, "What came first, the chicken or the egg?"

Did the event happen to the person?

Or the person happen to the event?

ever just lay in your bed awake and let just a small amout of light in and watch the swirling phenomina before your eyes? You see things that arent there in full light

Nope, never tried this, but I will tonight. I can pull down my shades, but let a little light through. I will see what happens.
