And they are considered 2nd class protesters by the black protesters. I've even seen it go as far as postings on a activist FB page that whites are welcome to come to the Michael Brown protest, but they need to remain quiet.

A whole debate/argument took place about white privilege and whites speaking up at a rally oversteps their place. They should hold signs and remain quiet and allow the minorities to speak out. They are welcome to show up at a protest, but they better not try and participate as they have no standing

So people who wants to help your cause should shut up and hold signs. That cant be a good way too gather support.

there were actually white people apologizing for speaking out "I realize now I was wrong to shout. By doing so I spoke over those voices that for years have been trampled by white people. My white privilege blinded me to the fact I was actually part of the problem, not the solution. We non color people should fall to the background and support through our silence"

Where's the outrage from the Black community? The silence is deafening.
