fmw isn't fighting a guy with a 4'' reach advantage and 54% power punch accuracy. lara's kryptonite is a pressure fighter like angulo, not a boxer like trout or a semi - half ass boxer/puncher like canelo.  thurman would be nice to get his mandatory like guerrero and ortiz got but fmw isn't messing with that fight while trying to go 51-0. he'll go one fight past the sho contract because he can pick his opponenet and fanboys and haters will buy the ppv, no matter the opponent.  must be nice.

Will watch it again with better eyes, but agree with the 116 - 112 score cards. Early rounds Floyd, a good chunk of the middle to Manny, end to Floyd. Floyd did his usual thing, Manny was the aggressor, but for most of the fight, he was only connecting sporadically or not at all. Manny also showed his age a lot worst than Floyd.

Pacquiao should retire while he is still close to the top, anymore losses are going to tarnish his record badly.

Emotional support does exist in fighting sport. A lot less than team sports, but some fighters do get boost from it. More common in Europe than USA.

fmw was a dog 135 and under. questions all over his career at 147.  undefeated record is all cool but he still never attempted to unify any weight class he was in. he could have been lineal by knocking off brook but instead will drop the belts monday and fight khan or danny g.
