Louisiana Hot Sauce "Original" question
« on: May 03, 2015, 01:12:07 PM »
I live in europe and cant get any good sauces .
I love putting Franks Red hot Sauce on my eggs , but its pretty expensive when you count the shipment with it.

on amazon there is Louisiana Hot Sauce "Original" , it looks a bit like franks red hot sauce.
Anyone tried it? because its less expensive and I maybe would switch for it.

any experience on eggs or other chicken/fish meals with it?

I think "Tabasco" is distributed in Europe.  If not in the food stores, then try the liquor stores.

Not many Germans like hot spices.

It's kind of fun to take Germans to a Mexican restaurant and introduce them to the cuisine.  I show them about "nachos" which are a kind of spicy fondue...melted cheese, corn crisps, beef and chicken, and other goodies.  It is traditionally garnished with sliced pickled jalapeņos.  I warn them to cut the jalapeņos into smaller pieces to make it milder...They don't always listen...

Get yourself some chipotle pepper sauce or powder.  It tastes sooo good & is a helluva lot hotter than Tabasco or Frank's hot sauce.

Louisiana is your generic hot sauce you would find in a common greasy spoon diner.

It's not bad but I personally prefer Tabasco or Texas Pete.
