no lineal champion in any weight class he passed through even when he was a dog at 135, and he had a chance with thurman or brook to put icing on the cake in september.  top 10 because of defense and protected "0".  TBE is just modern day social media, and he's the first boxer to benefit from it and rape casuals financially with twitter type match-making.

Floyd is definitely a top 20 fighter of all time.  I would have him in the 20 range though, but these numbers are always debatable.

These statistics skew the fight somewhat.  It was a very close fight with Floyd controlling the pace and actually landing the more impactful punches.  Castillo was a great fighter at that point, and Floyd thoroughly dominated him in the rematch.

Fraud lost to Castillo the first fight, but he clearly won the rematch. I think he retired after the first bout. He was literally crying in the post fight conference about how unfair he was treated by the writers and pundits. He gave the writers who were on his nuts rolexes, lol. Steve Kim wrote that his fights are the walk out fights; so boring that people are walking out before the fight is finished.

No way stick and move might be effective points wise, but all the greats could fight many ways, he can only fight one way, any other era he would have lost a lot of fights for not being aggressive enough.  Castillo easily beat him in that fight it was robbery, Floyd never fought on the inside again after this fight  ;)

For me, no way.  He's one of the most technically proficient fighters ever but he isn't near what I would consider the greatest.

It depends on how you define the word "Greatest" though.  I happen to put a high value on being able to hit someone hard enough to actually hurt them.  I don't value defensive fighters that throw soft patty-cake punches and score points.  Not everyone sees it that way though.

He is probably one of the best defensive boxers
On the back foot.
Not all round one of the Great Fighters.

I find him very dull & boring to watch,
Yes he is very effective in what he does.

Having a 48-0 record makes him Very Good.
But Far from The Best Ever.

Mayweather, in the era of Leonard, Hearns and Duran, would've gotten hurt.

That Dancing with the Stars crap wouldn't have flown back then.

Hey, FMW didn't duck anyone. He retired multiple times because he needed to clear his mind and refocus. Haha

In the rematch yes, not in the first fight. Numbers don't lie.
