Anyone know is The Killing Joke is out on any sites to watch?

As a side.  My nephew is 10 and wants to see Suicide Squad.  I know its PG13 but is it okay for a 10 year old? He's seen All the Marvel films except for Deadpool,  BvS and all the DC animations.

Prime-Will

he is too old to be trying to act "cool" and immature. Hence all the grown up movies he has been trying to do lately.

Lol, I heard on the radio to keep it PG13, they had to CGI the thong line on Harley to make it wider.  WTF!

Holmes, yep! 135.3 million ...That  I hear was the final weekend count.

With help from some of the cast/crew I posted 120 - 130 million, so even with some bad reviews, it did very well.

Now the big question is..... Will it have legs??

And it appears that a sequel may be a definite.

Nope

You know, I'm not sure... It may have more than we think.

ONLY because this weekend doesn't have any "mega" blockbusters listed in it.

Here's this weekend's releases:

Title                                Number of screens
Florence Foster Jenkins   1,500
Pete's Dragon                   3,400
Sausage Party                   2,800+
Anthropoid                           300+
Ghost Team                   15

So really, while there are new movies, there's nothing that really jumps out to say "winner" this weekend. It may only drop down a spot, or it may not drop at all.

It's going to be interesting to see how it does this weekend.

Its foreign hasn't been terrible either. Already made 133 Million outside of the US.
Hell or High Water   30

Just saw the Batman vs Superman movie on a flight. Why bother casting real people - there was so much over the top CGI it really became ridiculous!

Yeah it seems like marketing is more expensive then making the movie. Gues it is easier to brainwash people into seeing a movie then it is to actually make a decent movie?

Movies these days just seem to be advertisements for merchandise and video games.

Star Wars is and has been a commercial for Toys and Merchandise.  They estimated over $3 billion in toy sales from the last movie.  Insane to think about.

Pure, unadulterated garbage. They could have run the movie backwards and it wouldn't have made a difference to plot or story. Leto's Joker is essentially a pimp who owns a night club. Who uses his own icon as his text message profile pic because OF COURSE the Joker would do that.

OLD SCHOOL, You bring up another interesting subject about movie making and the industry's accounting procedures which determine when a movie is profitable or simply 'ain't'.

I was involved in the financial backing of a few major Hollywood productions (small amount with numerous partners) and NEVER made a profit.

The motion picture accounting procedures are claimed to be accurate and legal ..... but I seriously doubt those claims.
