I haven't drink the Monster "energy" myself,  but I've seen a lot of bodybuilders, cap side ways,affliction shirt with biceps bursting , working at nutrition stores and yet with a glowing can of monster drink on hand right on the counter, so I thought it was valid to ask .....


Btw, With that lack of thick skin you obviously wont land a job on this growing industry .

Used to consume a lot of coffee on a daily basis and build a noticable tolerance... decided to drop coffee in its entirety and only consume limited amounts of caffeine per day, thus; one can of monster max. a day, quite like the Rossi special they've got going on atm

I can drink several espresso cups a day if I wanted, but I can't drink several monster cans a day, they make me tweak and feel like I just took poison or drugs. Wait a minute....

I love the taste, and the cold fresh breez as it goes down my throat, feels good. Very unhealthy but it feels fucking good!

A hole in your stomach? I use those as caffeine gives me the shits for sure. Tabs don't have the crash that comes when you drink coffee either.

I drink these quite a bit, they have quite a few B vitamins in them which is fine but its also a shitload of caffeine. The thing is when your using any kind of stimulant to train (even caffeine)  your activating the flight or flight response whether you realize it or not and this can lead to overtraining the CNS and adrenal fatigue. Never get yourself amped up for a lift unless your maxing out and going for a personal record. Save the caffeine for the days when your maxing out and going for a personal record.

Good post. I like any of the rehab low cal teas like red tea rehab.

I consume 300mg in two doses and that is a very reasonable daily caffeine consumption.

I know too much is not good for you, not as young or uninformed you may think I am but agree with your main point and is what I'M saying here.

One of those drinks costs more than what I use in tabs per month.
