Brady found guilty of involvement.   One of 3 named.  Common sense and his high pitched giggle denial told it all.  The texts are the smoking gun.  Calling himself "the deflator" lol

How many times do they get to do this before the NFL starts taking away wins?

SB win this year at a minimum should be vacated and Belichick sentenced to death.

Brady has nothing to hide. That's why he refused to share his emails with the equipment manager. But I bet you the balls they were talking about in email were not footballs.

Many of the texts said that Brady wouldn't like the balls at 16 psi. No idea now if they said that he wanted them below 12 psi. As soon as the balls were switched to the correct PSI...the colts got their asses handed to them twice as bad. They could have given them shotguns and it wouldn't have mattered.

Statement from New England Patriots Chairman and CEO Robert Kraft on the Wells Report
Wednesday, May 06, 2015 12:55 PM EDT
By New England Patriots
 @patriots

“When I addressed the media at the Super Bowl on January 26 – over 14 weeks ago – I stated that I unconditionally believed that the New England Patriots had done nothing inappropriate in this process or in violation of the NFL rules and that I was disappointed in the way the league handled the initial investigation. That sentiment has not changed.
“I was convinced that Ted Wells’ investigation would find the same factual evidence supported by both scientific formula and independent research as we did and would ultimately exonerate the Patriots. Based on the explanations I have heard and the studies that have been done, I don’t know how the science of atmospheric conditions can be refuted or how conclusions to the contrary can be drawn without some definitive evidence.
“What is not highlighted in the text of the report is that three of the Colts’ four footballs measured by at least one official were under the required psi level. As far as we are aware, there is no comparable data available from any other game because, in the history of the NFL, psi levels of footballs have never been measured at halftime, in any climate. If they had been, based on what we now know, it is safe to assume that every cold-weather game was played with under inflated footballs. As compelling a case as the Wells Report may try to make, I am going to rely on the factual evidence of numerous scientists and engineers rather than inferences from circumstantial evidence.
“Throughout the process of this nearly four-month investigation, we have cooperated and patiently awaited its outcome. To say we are disappointed in its findings, which do not include any incontrovertible or hard evidence of deliberate deflation of footballs at the AFC Championship game, would be a gross understatement. In addition, given our level of cooperation throughout the process, I was offended by the comments made in the Wells Report in reference to not making an individual available for a follow-up interview. What the report fails to mention is that he had already been interviewed four times and we felt the fifth request for access was excessive for a part-time game day employee who has a full-time job with another employer.
“While I respect the independent process of the investigation, the time, effort and resources expended to reach this conclusion are incomprehensible to me. Knowing that there is no real recourse available, fighting the league and extending this debate would prove to be futile. We understand and greatly respect the responsibility of being one of 32 in this league and, on that basis, we will accept the findings of the report and take the appropriate actions based on those findings as well as any discipline levied by the league.”

I think they knew what Brady liked and then just did what he normally liked....but whatever.

Based on the evidence developed in connection with the investigation and
summarized in this Report, we have concluded that it is more probable than not that New
England Patriots personnel participated in violations of the NFL Playing Rules and were
involved in a deliberate attempt to circumvent those rules. In particular, we conclude that it is more probable than not that Jim McNally and John Jastremski participated in a deliberate plan to
circumvent the rules by releasing air from Patriots game balls after the examination of the
footballs by NFL game officials at the AFC Championship Game. We believe that McNally and
Jastremski were aware that the inflation level of the Patriots game balls following pre-game
inspection by the game officials would be approximately 12.5 psi and planned for McNally to
deflate the balls below that level following the pre-game inspection using a needle provided by
Jastremski. Based on the evidence, we also have concluded that it is more probable than not that
Tom Brady was at least generally aware of the inappropriate activities of McNally and
Jastremski involving the release of air from Patriots game balls.

We do not believe that the evidence establishes that any other Patriots personnel
participated in or had knowledge of the violation of the Playing Rules or the deliberate effort to
circumvent the rules described above. In particular, we do not believe there was any wrongdoing
or knowledge of wrongdoing by Patriots ownership, Head Coach Belichick or any other Patriots
coach in the matters investigated. We also do not believe there was any wrongdoing or
knowledge of wrongdoing by Patriots Head Equipment Manager Dave Schoenfeld

did the Patriots do it? Probably. Looking back at their past cheating history i would say its a given.
is there any "real" proof that they deflated the balls? Doesnt apear to be.

in the end i dont think it would have mattered...they more than likely would have still won. Lets get over this and wait til they cheat again

I want to give him the benefit of the doubt but you are right, it is getting harder and harder to do so.

Based on everything I've read it seems many quarterbacks do this.

This stuff is great material for Pats haters though.

They still beat Seattle with normal balls so you can't take that away from them.  Worst call in sports history. How Pete Carroll didn't get lynched is beyond me.

Whining bitiches all...there is still no legal smoking gun proof.

everyone knows they didn't pull 2 or 3 PSI out of the ball, and the top QB on planet Earth never noticed lol.
everyone knows from his high pitched giggle when first asked - that he was lying terribly.

Now, you can argue "they can't prove it!" but does anyone seriously, in their right mind, truly believe that Brady didn't know the balls were deflated?  Brady admitted in 2011 that he preferred them deflated - http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/24980832/tom-brady-in-2011-i-like-deflated-footballs

Now, seeing as he's refused to participate in the investigation and give up his text messages with the two proven-guilty people... Does anyone in their right mind truly believe Brady wasn't involved and aware?  Bob Kraft has done a full 180 on it too - plans to issue punishment.

The only defense for Pats fans is: "Well, you can't PROVE IT".

But everyone knows, everyone knows, Brady was involved and knew he was cheating.   Only the biggest homer Pats fan would deny it at this point.  He's the top QB in the world, he admits he likes them deflated, his guys gave themselves nicknames and planned/executed the plan... and there are some people out there who deny it?

Just say "I dont care if he cheated, they can't prove it, and it doesn't make him any less great".   Don't do the "you can't prove it" becaue only a homer believes it now.

Didn't care then, don't care now. Notice the "probable" behind everything. For the record, I thought Tom was lying from the beginning.

The report also says that its likely that Belichick and Kraft knew nothing about what was going on.

So what do we have here? A quarterback working with a couple of equipment guys to make the balls more comfortable for him.

Did it break the rules? Sure. Is it serious in the grand scheme of things? Hardly.

They say a punishment ruling for Brady and the two equipment guys could be a few days away.

The only thing we really found out was that if anything went on, that Bill and Bob had no idea about it.

Doesn't change the fact that they are the champions.

Just like Kraft statement says.......although they can't 100% prove anything, it would be pointless to fight this any longer. They will take whatever punishment the league decides to hand out.
