Because losing even one game without Brady can be the difference between home field advantage or not.

Lets assume that Brady serves the full 4 games. Im hoping the Pats can go at least 2-2, because they started the 2014 season 2-2, with everyone questioning them.

Im just not sure the secondary can hold up this year. They just let go of Arrington and Dennard, and we already know about the departures of Revis and Browner.

Looks like we may have to score 30+ points to win again.

Why didnt Rapelisberger get a year.? Its more likely than not, that he forced himself upon that girl in the bathroom stall.

no evidence, hence no charges

plenty of evidence against tom SHADY

Brady gonna be running for his life when he comes back from his four game suspension. Defenses got a lot better Jets Dolphins and Bills. No cake walk this year. I think Indy will win the AFC this year.

It wasn't a cake walk last year with changes in the O line.

Revis swap makes it worse.

Too bad what the Pats did has nothing to do with any of the others.

But it also ignores all the context around second offense, lying, and not complying.

Anyway, now Pats fans are showing their intelligence by getting arrested today.

Clip of game broadcast of phil simms discussing the tampering of rodgers balls

http://deadspin.com/aaron-rodgers-likes-to-tamper-with-footballs-too-1680676328

Aaron Rodgers Likes To Tamper With Footballs, Too

We have now reached the point in the New England Patriots' Ballghazi scandal where Patriots fans can start claiming that the team didn't do anything that every other team in the NFL isn't also doing.

The defense enters the above video into evidence. Here we have CBS broadcasters Jim Nantz and Phil Simms casually recounting their pregame conversation with Aaron Rodgers before his Week 13 matchup with the Patriots. According to Simms, Rodgers admitted to them that he likes to over-inflate game balls. "I like to push the limits of how much air we can put in the football, even go over what they allow you to do," is what Simms recalls Rodgers telling them.

I think it's pretty obvious that what we need now are Congressional hearings. Cheaters are brazenly disgracing the game of football right under our noses, and we need some answers! Who has ever actively participated in the over- or under-inflating of footballs? Is Rodgers a single actor, or did he have the support of a cell? Whose money is behind the New England Patriots, anyway? At what temperature can jet fuel melt a steel beam?

Where are the video tapes? We need video tapes!

Regardless if Brady did or didn't cheat, we can all assume that on any given Sunday, the NFL could investigate any team and find some dirt. What a fucking weird world we live in where Gooddell goes after a squeaky clean white dude who is basically the face of the NFL, married to a supermodel and never been in trouble with the law. Yet goes out of his way to cover up dirt on the animals of the league. Talk about fucked up priorities...

No, they went after a team that they told years ago to stop cheating.  And they didn't, got caught, lost draft picks, and the coach was fined.

Then they did it again.  And lied about it.

That's why the league went after them full force, and that's why the penalties were so severe.

the deflatriots cheating is a bigger black eye for the sport, you can't have your most competitive team over the last 15 years be thought of as a complete farce and not think that won't hurt the league overall

if the nfl wants to maintain it's spot as the number 1 juggarnaut in the sporting world it's best to make sure that the fans think of the game as legit, and not just the best cheater winning

Imagine a world where a 'commissioner' of a league was an impartial arbiter of owner's/player's interests? Hah! Good one.  ::)

The only reason the league is going full force after the Pats is because they can take it...Patriots are the Batman of the league...The more the Patriots win their division, the harder it is to tell people that the Nfl is a great league with Parody...The viewer is being lied too.
