I can't stop laughing at all the dorks, nerds and non-athletes that actually think playing with a football with 2-3 less PSI means the difference in winning and losing. It makes zero difference. None.

Brady is a stud and the Patriots know how to win.

"Two or three less PSI in the football. I can't stop laughing." - G. Zimmerman

try throwing or catching a deflated football, tell me it's not a lot easier

i don't know how or why aaron rodgers prefers it to be bigger

Lol, so the Pats are saying that the deflator nickname is because the ball boy lost weight.  HAHAHA.  Come on man.

I knew something was up years ago when they had Deon Branch and it was a playoff game, super fucking snow storm.  Their opponent was struggling and the Pats were throwing 50 yard bombs to branch and he was squeezing them in.  I was wondering what the fuck was going on and how can he be doing these one hand grabs when the snow was 10 inches thick.

Anyone thinks the Pats are alone are just stupid.  Every team and numerous players cheat.

Actually at the time the rules were not changed yet, so qbs and teams didn't have their own set of footballs. It was until Peyton and Brady years later told the NFL if they could have their own set of footballs set to their preference

Only home teams had access to the balls prior to the rule change. The hosting team provided the balls for the visitor

a whole lotta NFL running backs feel a smaller ball means fewer fumbles.

a nice handful of QBs said a flatter ball is way easier to throw, particularly if you have tiny twink hands.

Brady doesn't risk this much - and giggle/lie then coverup/lie, unless it was worth the risk.

All sports, all people look for an edge. Pats get caught, cause of success. (Everyone hates them, out to get them) You think the Raiders are even paid any attention.
People freaking over this, meanwhile their home life is in ruins... really boggles the fucking mind...

Mike Tomlin should have been suspended 8 games for that little stunt.

Brady to appeal:

The officials alone should handle the balls.

i always wondered how adam viniatieri kicked those field goals in the snow in the tuck rule playoff game against the raiders

i thought kicking the ball would be like kicking a rock in that weather, apparently not

another thing gronk played his senior year of high school football in my area, he caught 8 passes the entire season and he wasn't exactly a touchdown machine in college, now he looks like he could be the best tight end ever

makes you wonder...

We already know that multiple times, the pats have found ways to successfully cheat.

They've been caught at times... but really, were they caught for ALL of the ways they've cheated?   They probably laugh at the fact they've been caught for spygate and deflategate, but probably have gotten away with twenty other "gates" taht we'll never know about.

They're smart, they're shrewd.

The home teams supplied the balls.  Which led to the Pats doing this:

Quote
Jay Feely), said he saw Tom Brady receiving broken-in footballs during a game in 2004, back when the same balls were used by both teams. Feeley, meanwhile, said the Dolphins were getting new balls every time they were on offense.

“Prior to Tommy and Peyton Manning going to the league and saying, ‘Let us doctor our balls’ we used to all play with the same balls. […] Somehow this beat-up ball from the ball boy was getting thrown in on offense for New England, yet when we were on offense this orange brand new ball was getting thrown in.”

Feely said Brady getting his own balls “was an issue to me at the time” and said something to the ball boy and received a smirk

They always cheated.  It's the Patriot way.

If a slightly deflated ball is easier to throw, catch and hold onto (I've never seen real evidence)...why doesn't the NFL deflate all balls? They're always looking to increase offense.

Exactly.  Every single player on both sides knows the deal.  If it EVER bothered the defense they would immediately stop the game, get the referee, point at the ball and scream, "THE BALLS UNDERINFLATED!! THE BALLS UNDERINFLATED!!!"   They do exactly that every time an offensive player jumps offside or is guilty of illegal motion.

Not one single player EVER complains because they do not care. An underinflated ball means nothing.  Nothing.

I means EVERYTHING to a quarterback if that's what he's comfortable with and has had success and confidence with.

You keep saying it doesn't matter, but never why he prefers it or why they deflated them for him.

Haters best avoid looking at the record books.

If you ever need a reminder of how good Tom Brady is, all you need to do is look at the Super Bowl record book, which has basically turned into Brady's autobiography.

The Patriots quarterback practically rewrote the record book during New England's 28-24 win over Seattle in Super Bowl XLIX. Brady broke, tied or extended eight Super Bowl records in the Patriots win.

Among the records that Brady broke were: Most completions in a game (37), most completions in a half (20), most Super Bowl starts (6) and most career touchdown passes in the Super Bowl (13).

Brady's 37 completions broke Peyton Manning's old record of 34, which was set last season in Denver's 43-8 loss to Seattle.

The most impressive record is probably the touchdown pass record. Brady's four touchdown passes against the Seahawks gave him 13 for his career in the Super Bowl, moving him past Joe Montana, who threw 11 touchdown passes in four Super Bowls. Brady went into Super Bowl XLIX with only nine career touchdown passes in the Big Game.

Besides breaking four records, Brady also tied two records. Two big records.

Thanks to the win, Brady now joins Montana and Terry Bradshaw as the only quarterbacks in NFL history who have won four Super Bowls as a starter.

Brady's 328-yard, four touchdown performance against Seattle earned him his third Super Bowl MVP award, which tied Joe Montana for the most ever.

Of course, there were also some records that Brady couldn't break because he already had them. Going into Super Bowl XLIX, Brady held the record for most career passes, most career completions and most career passing yards.

By tacking on 37 completions, 50 pass attempts and 328 passing yards to those records, Brady probably put those records far out of reach.

The Super Bowl record book next year should probably just have a picture of Brady on it.
