The headsets timing -coming back to life every time he nfl was approaching the pats bench- and the claim it kept getting loud on 3rd downs.    This suggests human influence on the issue.

The defenses are hilarious.  Pats fans, just shrug and say "we will do anything to win" and leave it at that.  The nfl teams are just tired of this "gamesmanship".  Note that as soon as the headphones issue was resolved, the steelers out scored 21-14.   But the 14-0 lead during that headphone mess?  Just too coincidental.

I think you meant "should" just shrug.

Because if you didn't - they do everything but that.

Yes this mornings defenses are hilarious.

Yes,tomlin is also a cheater for stepping out on the field, thus last night headphone manipulation was okay.  Lol

Imo, pats are just accepting this reputation as cheaters and will go all in now.  Can't prove who did what, they just beat the nfl in court.  Just cheat every week in every way, embrace that asterisk, baby!

Epic paranoid delusions. Look out! I think Bellichick is in your closet!

I can see that your NFL season will be 100% full with tha Pats deep in your mind. Enjoy!

240 either trolling or a acting like a conspiracy nut yet again.

Like AJ already pointed out........There is absolutely no fucking way the Patriots purposely messed with the Steelers headsets last night, being under the microscope like they are. Unfortunately, (and this is the Pat's fault) they are always going to be blamed for anything like this in the future. It also does not help that they are an elite team, which many in the league envy.

People completely forgot about the Browns and Falcons cheating incidents from last year. Why? Because those teams suck.

The Patriots will always have the spotlight on them due to the reputation that they have largely inflicted upon themselves.

As a Patriots fan, I can't stand the fact that we can't even seem to win a game anymore without people screaming and crying of controversy.

Only a certified moron would believe that the Patriots would have the unmitigated gall, to purposely mess with the Steelers communications, while the whole world is watching.

Electronic devices sometimes have technical difficulties. Deal with it.

Should have busted that out last night.

Steelers kicker couldn't hear the plays called so he wasn't sure where he was supposed to aim.

Steelers defense couldn't hear the signal to cover Gronk...

Yes, electronic devices do SOMETIMES have technical difficulties, here's a few of them:

Quote
2006: Patriots security staff audio interferes with the Jaguars’ coach-to-QB communication system at “crucial moments” during a playoff game. The Lions and the Bengals also reported their coaches’ headsets stopped working during games at New England.
2007: The Patriots are investigated for using unapproved communication frequencies to interfere with the New York Jets’ headset system.
2008: Karlos Dansby accuses the Patriots of tampering with the Cardinals’ headset system.
2011: Jack Del Rio has his Jaguars team practice without headset communications, as “that tends to happen in New England.”

This was also  the defense for deflategate after spygate, yet the Pats still did it.

Unproven.

I was specifically talking about last night's game. They wouldn't be dumb enough to do it, and it takes a stupid person to believe that they would.

There obviously is no concrete proof of the past allegations either, otherwise the NFL would have gone after them for that as well.

It's so weird that the team with a history of actually cheating - the pats - coincidentally have these headset issues.

Even worse is the "it starts working when NFL officials were about to turn off the headphones each time".

Sorry, but anyone who just falls for "coincidence" here isn't thinking clearly.

As for the arguments?
1) They wouldn't do that?   Um, they sent in fake camera crews to gain an edge - they would.
2) They can't do that?  Come on, the technology doesn't exist?
3) Steelers coach cheated too?  LOL, and he was punished bigtime for it.

The same folks that said the balls were fine, the same folks that said spygate didn't happen, now say the Pats couldn't/woudln't disrupt headphones to take a 14-0 lead.   Yep.

If you had to bet your car.. I mean, you lose your car, or you get a pile of cash worth that car...

and you had to bet...

(and I"m not talking sending anyone to prison, I'm just saying if you had to bet either way)

Would you bet some kinda funny business was going on to Pats advantage?
Or would you bet the car it was just crazy coincidence that each time NFL officials were about to remove pats headphones, the error magically stopped - and nothing intentional human was influencing it?

I'm not talking about proving anything, suspending anyone - just if you had to bet - do you think it was human purposeful?

Only a certified moron would believe that the Patriots would have the unmitigated gall, to purposely mess with the Steelers communications, while the whole world is watching.

Only a complete moron would believe the Patriots ball boys would sneak into a bathroom and deflate a football, given the monster ASTERISK attached to the pats due to Spygate.

it's a completely unprovable thing here - some electronic interference at sweet 3rd down moments, and a few of them make the difference..   Pats had an instant 14-0 lead when headsets were fcked.  The steelers outscored them 21-14 once the headphones started working.   that says a LOT.

I never bought into "they couldn't possible cheat with everyone looking" - that's the BEST time to do it.  They already have the rep, their fans will just blame a mean, butthurt NFL for any accusations, and really, this is likely just high-tech version of bill walsh 49ers cheating.   A few quick bursts of radio interference on 3rd downs, nobody can prove anything, and Pats scrape out with a 7 point win.

I am willing to be that every team has broken the rules or cheated to gain an advantage.

Not making an excuse for the Patriots, just pointing that out to fans of other teams who think that their franchises are squeaky clean.  ::)

So, basically the Pats have been fined massive amounts of money and had draft picks taken away twice for cheating, but they're innocent.

Got it.

Guess Barry Bonds. Lance Armstrong, and Roger Clemens were clean too since he never failed a steroid test.

LOL @ the defense of cheating being the benefits gained from cheating.

it's like me getting busted cheating on the wifey, and celebrating with "hey, at least I got laid, honey!"

I'm still a shit cheater.

No. The Patriots had Brady, Edelman, and Gronk. Those three are all the Patriots needed.

I'm sure lots of teams try it.  And I'm sure the Pats have done little things like this for years.  Now, everyone is looking at them closely.   Also there was a game clock reset, i saw on FB.  Shady reset added 15 seconds to the clock for Pats.

LOL @ Colin "suddenly an uber conservative" Cowherd is suddenly the world's biggest Tom Brady fanboy, now that he's on FOX Sports radio.  Ugh, Colin has been referencing Bill OReilly every 5 minutes on his show.  shit is unlistenable suddenly.

Once the headphones started working, the 'unstoppable' Brady, Edel and gronk were outscored 21 to 14.

They get a monster lead 14-0 at home with selective headphone interruption.
They are outscored by 150% once the headphones work.

Ugh, cowherd should STFU, defending Brady nonstop.

It was scoreless after the first quarter, genius. I'm sure the headphones were sorted by that time.

There goes your argument.
