they are overconfident, but you don't want to play a team that's been to the last two superbowls and has ton of playoff experience.  GB knew they couldn't beat Seattle and lost it on purpose.

People refuse to admit that having the balls deflated definitely helps.

Their fumble rate was exactly the same as last year, 0.9 fumbles per game.

Third best in the league even after all the injuries to their skilled position players.

So you're saying deflated balls don't help?

Wrong. You are including fumbles on special teams in that number (using K-balls); not the ones that were in question during deflategate.

It's ok.

Just keep breathing, it'll be ok.

Thanks, I didn't think to factor in fumbles with the kicking balls. So their offense led the league in fewest fumbles.

I'm a Pats fan and I will say this. The amount of dropped balls by their players seemed very high this year. However, dropped balls seem to be way up all across the league. My guess is many teams played with air pressure before this year and now are playing it straight up. Denver seems like they have a massive amount of dropped balls this year. Also the year that the league is watching air pressure has been the worst year of Peyton Mannings career. Not only are his players dropping balls but he doesn't seem to get a good grip on the ball. I think Manning is the one QB who was fucked over now not being able to deflate footballs.

He's also 39 years old, has neck fusion and nerve damage in this throwing arm (can't really his fingertips on his throwing hand), and torn plantar fascia.

He sucked pretty bad for the last third or so of last year as well.

There's also this if we're going to point fingers:

I get all that but the guy threw 55 TDs and almost 5500 yards at 37 years old with neck fusion and nerve damage.

I always suspected Gronk was behind the deflation, now there's proof. ;D

Roger Goodell only 2 games away from giving Tom Brady another Super Bowl trophy

I think people always assume New England is going to win. Not if they have to face Carolina.
