Doesn't mean you should. Been thinking about this stuff that happened up the road from me in Garland Tx and I've come to the conclusion that these people are the worst kind of stupid and I'm not talking about the radical Muslims they only did what you expect from there kind. But these other fuck tards that put on and publicized the event, if they were only jeopardizing themselves it's one thing but they put at risk people in there own community getting hurt and their fucking proud of it. Just because you have the freedom to do something doesn't mean you should. They are very fortunate they only came after them , what if or when they retaliate in a different manner next time like say heading up to the local school instead. It's ignorance and it's asking for trouble. They want to protect freedom of speech just wait til a group of these goat fucking bastards show up at a grocery store or daycare center , what then?
There is a balance between freedom of expression and responsibility. On the one hand, they should be allowed to draw cartoons of the prophet Mohammed. That is their right. Trust me, I fully support any opportunity to mock and criticize religion.
However, the fact of the matter is that freedom of expression may or may not come with good or bad consequences. What if a few children died that day? Would it have still been worth it? This is the question they would have to ask themselves. There is no easy answer. However, I do believe that Freedom of Expression should also come with a sense of responsibility. I mean, on the one hand, they should not be silenced, on the other hand, they know what the consequences may be (blow up a building, shoot people, etc.).
