Very funny guys, sometimes I do get a little bored of black comedians making jokes about racism. It's done to death.

I think Eddie made that stuff mainstream for a lot of people? But 30? Years later the same jokes are being made.

No way.  A black comic's show is almost always about race because it gets an easy laugh from the 1/2 sozzled 4 drink minimum crowd.  It's lazy and not very interesting the 10th time around.

Your list is missing the #1 comic of all time who proves me wrong: Bill Cosby.  Yes, the titty groping, mickey slipping Bill Cosby with the bulge in his trousers.  The same.

Patrice O'Neal was the greatest black comedian of the last 10 - 15 years. Eddie was great, and could be great again, he just needs to get into the clubs again, and work out new material. Delirious is still funny 30 years later. Black comics tend to rely on white characters too much sometimes, but there are still lots of strong ones around.

The thing that is killing white comedy, is that there are too many social justice warriors in it now, trying to shame folks, and make it happy. Comedy should hurt.

The guys coming up with Rogan, and guys like Big Jay Oakerson, and that crew are holding it down. No fear in those guys.

In the past 10 years, I think whites have overtaken blacks. Chapelle was the last of the funny ones. Katt Williams is an annoying midget. If you've watched any of the Comedy Central roasts, whites>blacks

I can pretty safely assume you are quite young then. He was popular back in the 80's. Unfortunately he was killed by a drunk driver back in 1992.

This was a funny post.
As stated, too many black comics over use race in their routine.  And some times talking in high pitched voice isn't enough to be funny, like Chris Rock.  Murphy had some decent material.  I never found Richard Prior to be funny in stand up, but decent in a few movies.
George Carlin and Tosh are funnier than any comedian listed so far....and smarter.
Louie CK is a serious overrated comic.  He has a few funny bits, but I never saw much in him.
Dane Cook mastered the art of being funny without saying anything that funny.

Chapelles stand up was rough.  His sketch comedy, best thing to hit in a while...over a decade back.

It's hard to argue funny, as it's similar to art...that painting is beautiful...fuck you, it sucks....haha...uh ok.

Somepeople like to cal black people dumb. But I think some of them are pretty smart. Very fast brain and mouth! Legs to! And in some areas white people cant hang with them...

In most cases I think they are just lazy and dosent give a fuck! Not aware of their own potential...or might be, but doesn't give a fuck! Just lazy. Most talented people are lazy!
