Good scenario Ritch. Although it hasn't happened In a tanning salon, I have had people try to pull that shit cause they were impatient. What most people don't understand is that most Americans can't deal with confrontation. I thrive on it. So I've embarrassed my ex wife and girlfriends at the time if I put some extra base in my voice, be tactful, and call them out of what they're doing. I'm not passive aggressive. Just very aggressive.  I don't curse. You lose when you do. Just rub their face in the ship they did and most will back down. Those that won't (I've yet to experience this) you go further. I don't go looking for trouble. But I have no problems gettin down. I stay away from thugs of all races and establishments they are likely to frequent because I know, I'll more than likely have a problem with a smart mouth punk I'll be forced to permanently disable. Being Hebrew helps for fear factor if needed. I usually only have to use it on young Hebrews (men and women) and middle age white women. Call em out man. I don't let people get away with shit if I'm wronged.

Teachers, even lowly substitutes, have to possess skill in practicing their craft and in administering authority. There is an art to successful classroom management, which this sub clearly lacks. His body language and demeanor is challenging (inviting confrontation in a battle of "toughness" -- with neither "combatant" willing to lose face), rather than controlled and assured. Second, because his conflict resolution skills appear woefully deficient, he is caught, in flagrante delicto, resorting to physical force in order to "resolve" a situation whose intensity might have been verbally de-escalated. There are proper channels and strategies to pursue and employ: they protect both sides of stupid. N-word

Actions have real consequences. Hopefully this student learnt and important lesson. How is it that at his age the concept of self preservation hasn't even kicked in... That is how you get killed kid. No real world education, coddled by parents and society at large.

Sure.   I am sure your dad also walked up 78 miles to school with no shoes, never ever talked back to an adult, and ate his broccoli 100% of the time. Those old people and their made up stories.  

My dad came to America after escaping from a third world communist country. Didn't know any English. He got thrown into an all black school in the worst part of NYC Imagine that scenario for a minute. He saw a teacher get thrown down a flight of stairs.

I went to a nearly all black/spanish high school in NYC. Ive seen teachers get slapped in the face, punched in the face, spit in the face,  and someone used a fire extinguisher on a teacher. Right now, black/spanish make up 70% of the school I attended back in 1999.

Currently, the school is slightly more diversified, with more asians coming in. But the white population is still at 2.8% of the whole school. When I went there, it was about 1% of the whole school.

It was an interesting experience. Many gangs in the school....bloods, crips, latin kings, etc. I use to cut school a lot. Never got caught really. They had "bigger fish to fry."

The school has gotten so bad that the 105th precinct patrols the schools grounds after hours because of what tends to happen after school hours.

My children would never do something like this, we live in the Deep South and the majority of the people here are responsible enough to teach there children how to behave.  But with all that being said had my kid made this mistake and a male teacher responded in that manner I'd fuck him up, I'd follow him home and beat his ass in front of his whole family and then I'd probably do the same thing again the next day.  Then I'd go home get my belt and bust my kids ass.  You don't touch my kid , me and only me disciplines my kid.  Obey that and were good.

I agree that kids today are in a whole differend world than kids were in 1960 and that many kids have all sorts of behaviour disorders that require special attention and approach (not ass whoopin) but talking about it won't help neither! So tell me what are you gonna do with millions of kids like that

Also, getting add as your birth gift is one thing, but just being undisciplined kid, no parental guidance, with normal brain function, normal everything, but no respect of authority is another thing... ass whooping needed then!
