You're forgetting about storage (that's a room temperture controlled warehouse BTW), shipping overseas all of that protein.....and even if you use the cheapest labels possible, its still a ton of money.  Finally, you have to SELL IT which means advertising your products which is where the real expenses are.  In the end, the margins are RAZOR THIN once its all done...IF YOU CAN SELL ALL OF THE PRODUCT.

Even if that's not the case are these products shipped via climate controlled semi trailers, because no dry goods nor liquids (soda, alcohol) are shipped this way either.
